I was delighted to be identified as a global thought leader on the subject of Government Technology or ‘Gov Tech’ recently. Details here.

The recognition comes on the back of my 2022 book ‘AI and the Future of the Public Sector‘, and perhaps also through some public speaking I’ve been doing on the topic especially to the US.

It’s a difficult subject in a difficult sector. Public Sector finances are in a sorry state, with an increasing impact of austerity cuts affecting many services. In my own backyard, there are massive planned cuts to the Youth Service which ultimately can only have a detrimental impact.

I can only hope that those who read my book gain some insight from it.
